Edgecam Joins Forces With India’s Leading Machine Tool Manufacturer
Edgecam’s reseller in India, Kriatec, has joined forces with the country’s leading machine tool manufacturer, LMW.
Chennai-based Kriatec Services Ltd and Lakshmi Machine Works, of Coimbatore, have signed a partnership agreement which sees them working together to provide manufacturers with a single solution regarding machine tools and CAD/CAM software.
Kriatec Director Mr Ajitha Prabu. G, says: “LMW machines have a reputation for durability, quality and value. And Edgecam offers specialist functionality for the production engineering and mould and die sectors, dramatically reducing component cycle times, with the added advantage of increased machine tool utilisation.”
And LMW Marketing and Sales General Manager Mr Bhattacharya I.N. says: “Customers will benefit from the advanced machining cycles only found in Edgecam, which can unleash the full potential of their investment in LMW machine tools, reducing costs, and improving quality.”
LMW began manufacturing CNC machine tools in a technical collaboration with Mori Seiki Co. Ltd., of Japan, later stepping up their independent R & D.
